Child Contact Service Fee's  

Supported Contact 
Shire's supported contact service is aimed at helping children and young people to see a parents or secondary caregiver
in a safe environment, with staff and volunteers who are there to offer advice and support when needed. Reports are not provided for this service.
The fee for supported contact is £65 hr. There is a single referral charge of £75.

Supervised Contact  
Shire's supervised contact service is used when a referral has been made by the court, Cafcass or a Local Authority. Contact is supervised, assessed and monitored by a contact worker at all times. The fee for supervised contact is £75 hr
There is a single referral charge of £75 and a fee of £30 for a single report.

Indirect Contact 
Our indirect contact service is intended for parents and secondary caregivers to communicate effectively with children and gives them the opportunity to use Shire's telephones and laptops to Skype, FaceTime or write letters, cards and other forms of appropriate communication. With the support of our staff, adults can stay in touch with children and develop a positive relationship.     
The fee for indirect contact is £45 hr or £15 an item for letters and parcels and a single referral charge of £35. 

Escorted Contact 
Shire's escorted contact service is for contact undertaken in the community with one or two workers who will supervise and support contact while undertaking an activity or at a parents home. If required our workers will research venues in the community that provide a safe environment. The fee for escorted contact is £65 hr and a single referral charge of £75. 

Supervised Handover 
Shire offer a supervised handover service to parents so they don't have to meet. The handover is done by one of our experienced contact workers who will handover to the non resident parent at a set time, who will then take the child out of the centre and return them at a later stage for handover back to the other parent. The fee for a handover is £20hr and a single referral fee of £35.

Parent Support 
Shire's parent support service is used when a referral is made by Cafcass, the Court or Local Authority. The service includes direct support within a family home with developing parenting skills, attending appointments, registering with GP's, schools and other services. This service can also be used in partnerhip with one of our other services such as private supported contact.
The fee for this service Is £65 hr and a single referral fee of £75     

Single referral fees for Supervised and Private Supported Contact include a face to face meeting with parents before contact commences to complete a full risk assessment and contract of expectations.
