Shire is an independent agency providing high quality consultancy and contact service to Local Authorities, Childrens Homes, Fostering Services and directly to parents.

Shire consultants provide assessments and reports of the highest quality. They have all been thoroughly vetted and interviewed to make sure they meet the high expectations of our clients. All consultants and contact workers are reference checked to make sure they are highly experienced in their field, qualified, insured and up to date with their checks and memberships. CV’s are available on request.

Once you’ve instructed us, we will liaise directly with you and the Independent consultant to ensure that the assessment, report  or complaint is completed within agreed timescales and the process goes smoothly for both parties. When  complete, Shire will quality assure it, were it will be checked for grammar, spelling and presentation. Reports will be presented to a high standard ensuring that it is robust, evidence-based and analytical before it is sent out to the client.

Shire also provide a contact service for private and public law family cases. Independent social workers and contact workers will supervise and /or support contact between children, parents and extended family members.
