Child Contact Service
Supporting children and their families to have meaningful, safe contact
Our contact service is tailored to the individual needs of children and their parents. Our service focusses on providing contact in the community where children are supported to have a positive experience of contact and an opportunity to develop relationships with family members within a supportive and safe environment.
Our approach enables us to tailor contact sessions for individual families and includes supervised contact,
supported contact, indirect contact,
supervised handover and escorted contact in the community.
Our contact workers are all experienced and trained children’s workers who have undertaken references and DBS checks prior to taking up a post.
Shire are currently undergoing accreditation with NACCC (National Association of Child Contact Centres).
